AHERA/ASHARA Accredited Asbestos Abatement Worker Course

A four day comprehensive course covering the following topics:

Physical Characteristics, Uses and Applications
Health Effects
Medical Surveillance
Sampling and Analysis Methods
Personal Protection
Regulatory Review
Safety Considerations
Decontamination Procedures

This course is designed to afford information regarding proper work practices and the importance of proper protection not only for you, but the environment.  Participants will learn the proper way to build containment walls, floors and decontamination units.  Participants will also learn proper procedures for glovebag removal.  Certification is awarded upon successful completion of a written exam on the forth day.

AHERA/ASHARA Accredited Asbestos Worker Refresher Course:

A one day session designed to review important information for the asbestos abatement worker.  Technical improvements and regulations are discussed.  A refresher certificate will be awarded at the end of the 8-hour review session.
